Finished in 3rd place in Full Tilt $24 MTT
Last night I played a good game and cashed for the 3rd place prize playing as TITUSOO in The Full Tilt $6500 Guaranteed 24+2 Multi Table Tournament with a starting field of 372. When I say good game, I mean good. It was not an excellent performance. I got very good hole cards and laid bad beats on people, but I did make my share of moves when necessary and managed to get as far as the final table where I made a fatal error that cost me a possible 1st place prize. It is funny that after winning I felt more upset than elated after cashing in close to $1100, but do not worry I feel much better today. The hand goes like this, The Blinds are 5,000T/10,000T with 1,000T ante I have about 120,000T and am in second place with 3 players left. The short stack has about 75,000T. I call his BB and he pushes. I have 44. Since he has less than 8BB, I put him on a wide range of hands, which includes over cards. If he has A9-AK or any other A, I am slightly ahead, 22 and 33 I dominate. This logic is flawed and I should have folded. I was staring at a minimum second place prize if I won the race and was mesmerized. On this hand, Chill can say I grew impatient and I would have to agree. I call his push and he flips over 10 10, aaaargggh! His 10's hold up and I am eliminated a few hands later. If anyone is interested in viewing the complete tourney in an animated form, hand for hand let me know.

Uknown,
Congrats big time!
Sounds like you played real well...enjoy your score...
Your all-in call...probably wasn't your best play...you've got pretty good lead over the small stack...and pretty much any pair or overcards you'd be in a race...
probably better to wait a litle bit for some better cards... or maybe let the big stack take him on
thanx!
You are right. The blinds were high enough to put me in gamble mode and I wanted more chips to make a run for first place where the big prize was. Big stack was at about 350,000T. The difference between 3rd and 2nd place was only a little more than $300 so I thought I was getting value for my call.
